Masada provided the 100-tonne offshore mooring system for the Nankun Wave Energy Converter, a groundbreaking renewable energy project developed by China Southern Power Grid. This semi-submersible, triangular platform generates up to 24,000 kWh of electricity per day—enough to power approximately 3,500 households—and is currently undergoing trials off the coast of Zhuhai, Guangdong Province.

Masada supplied the Φ132 Offshore Positioning Windlass for the Fukushima Floating Offshore Wind Farm Demonstration Project – Japan’s first floating wind farm initiative.
This project, led by the Fukushima Offshore Wind Consortium and funded by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, aimed to establish a business model for floating wind farms and contribute to future commercial projects.
